- FRESHNESS — As with any ground spices, to ensure maximum flavor, they should be used within 6 months of purchase (but are still good for up to a year). We date our bags (unlike our competitors) with a “Freshest when used by” sticker as a reminder.

- REMINDER — For our customers who are using their smokers, make sure you are throwing out the Prague powder (pink colored) packet before you marinate your meat. You don't need it as your smoke is your preservative.
